Sculpted like an Olympian, this wine has great agility, a strong core and fantastic balance. The aromatic profile ranges from bushels of dark berry fruit and pepper to tertiary aromas of, worked leather, dried cherry, sanded cedar, and detritus. The tannins are firm while also being wonderfully rounded. This balance endears the profile to the acidity that purveys the mid palate and keeps things lively. The finish is both longer and lavish. Embrace an absolute icon…turning heads through 2010.
