Certified Sommeliers Sarah Vaughn and Bill Mochoruk have brewed up some devious blind wine pairings to go with Chef Justin and his team’s cuisine for our Education Weekends Lunch and Learn offering. It is a 3 course, set menu lunch and each course will be served with 2 wines – yes, 2 wines!
The focus?
There will be complimentary and contrasting wine pairings for the dishes. Chef Justin will of course describe each course and its preparation in detail and will note the factors that affect the wine pairings. At this point Sarah and Bill will go head to head on complimentary vs contrasting strategies and may OR may not end up on the same side! It will all come down to you. And as noted, there will be extra participatory competitions during lunch that may just garner your table a prize or two! It will be delicious and perhaps deliciously controversial!
Each of the two Education Weekends will have unique menus so you may want to consider coming to both. This special Lunch and Learn is $64.19 which includes tax and gratuity.
We are not scheduling any other seminars during this time (1pm – 3pm) so everyone may attend. Maximum attendance is 80 people and surprisingly, they will book up fast. Don’t forget that you may wine up your day after lunch with one of the two special “apre-lunch” seminars that start at 3:30pm
What a great way to round off your experience and kick back as we take a kick at Old Man Winter!!!
