Riesling Kabinett
In the year 1245 German monks designed a cellar (or Kabinett, “cabinet” as the English might say) specifically for the storage of the best wines. It was natural therefore, in 1971 when the German Wine Classification came into existence that the first level of “Prädikat” (predicated or top ranked wine) would be called Kabinett. Vineland Estates Winery’s first labeled “Riesling Kabinett” was fathered by our very talented assistant winemake r, Tobias Fiebrandt, of German decent. He has brought forth a superior balanced wine, brimming with fresh fruit, citrus and whispered floral notes. The delightful sweetness is expertly countered by a lively acidity that keeps the wine in perpetual, energetic motion. One glass will certainly lead to the next.
